Privacy Policy

Effective date: [2025-10-07]

Who we are

Cloudero (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a hosting provider focused on privacy. We act as the data controller for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise specified.

Scope

This Privacy Policy covers our websites, Client Portal, and all other services we provide (collectively referred to as the “Services”).

What we collect

Account registration: To create an account, you only need to provide an email address, which also serves as your Client Portal username. We do not verify your email, and you are free to use an alias or anonymous email service.

No other personal data is collected by default.

How we use your data

We use your email address to create and maintain your account, allow you to sign in to the Client Portal, and access other control panels.

We do not send marketing emails. We only send strictly service-related communications, such as invoices, service status updates, or security and legal notices.

Data sharing and disclosures

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Law enforcement: We comply with valid, binding, and properly scoped legal requests. Our response is limited to the minimal data we hold (usually your account email address). Where legally allowed, we will notify you of any such request.

Payment records

We accept cryptocurrency payments through in-house processors such as BTCPayServer and Bitcart. No third parties are involved in the payment process. We retain transaction IDs as proof of payment, and in some cases as verification of account ownership, bookkeeping, or billing audit purposes.

Data retention

We retain your email address while your account remains active. When you close your account, we delete it within a reasonable time unless required by law or necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our terms. You may also request faster deletion of your data.

Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our Client Portal operates on a fully encrypted device, and we encrypt data whenever possible.

We require our business partners to maintain the same level of protection for any data shared with them.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted here, and if the changes are significant, we will notify you through the Client Portal or by email. The “Effective date” above reflects the most recent update.
